Seriously, with two grown daughters, it was more bits and pieces of advice over the years. The one consistant main theme over the years (and still is) is that they have someone that has always, and will always, love them. To this day, when we talk on the phone or meet for a visit, they know how I feel about them. There's too many girls out there with daddy issues that make some really horrible relationship decisions, because of what they lacked while growing up. I didn't want mine ending up like that...and they didn't.
