Yeah. He went out of his way to help me everytime we went. Even pulled a new car off the lot to loan me when the Altima SE/R was stolen.

I bought from him twice, I barely got a handshake from him one time.

There was some shakiness in my first deal, but I won't go into Details, as it got taken care of.

However there were a lot of sales that were financed leases, or red carpets that weren't explained to customers. So much so they had to add a document during the sales process that said, "I understand this is a...." lease or purchase. Several friends worked at other Nissan dealerships in the area, and said there were a lot of unhappy Nissan owners because of north Texas Nissan.

Everything I've heard about rob from close friends and others on this board was he was a good guy.

I might have contributed to the bad publicity they received that time I posted up an add on a '03 or '04 Cobra that was on their lot, that actually had a 2V motor in it when you popped the hood. Ooops. Sorry 'bout that.

Yeah, but you're white trash. Is treating you like family good or bad?

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

                        lol @ 'J'!

You still on the west coast homeskillet. I might be heading to SF for vacation this summer. I'm thinking a vinyards tour for me and the mrs. and also visit my friend that lives in El Sobrante up by Martinez. If your still around we'll have to do lunch or dinner...

I bought a 2003 Murano SL AWD from his dealership. The sales experience was painless and I got a decent deal for a great car.

A year later the transmission blew up on me when I was on a road trip outside of Chicago. He worked with a local dealer to help find me a new CVT. I should note that the "union" chief mechanic worked on New Years Eve (a day he was supposed to be off getting drunk) to get my new tranny installed so I could drive back to Texas a couple of days later...

BTW, as thanks to that mechanic, I bought him a bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel and wrote a great letter of appreciation to the owner. I made his new year.

I remember meeting him at the track when his capri first ran a 5.90, seemed like a really good guy.

I bought from there and had no issues, and he came down to talk to us. Rob is a very nice guy, and did plenty for a lot of people. All the issues that were brought up were more his staff, and Rob had no knowledge of it prior to the shitstorm on the board. Dealership was sold to Avery Johnson, former coach of the Mavs.
