On a serious note, what the fuck, BUS FARE? I haven't ridden a DART train since it first opened and I did it just to say I did. Isn't it like only $1.50 to ride, if your ass cant afford a $1.50, you dont need to be riding, geez...

No wonder these fools are trying to ride for free. Its an OK system but it takes forever to get to downtown. About an hour from the Parker station in Plano. I can make it to downtown in about 20 to 30 minutes from Allen and I don't have to sit next to stinky people and convicts...

When I was riding several years ago, you also had the issues of parking and even room to get on the damned train.

I remember nothing else to do but pick a car/truck and see how much faster you went. Generally, the train was never faster than even slower traffic with all the stops.

I will say this. I walk by the downtown train station, and a DART bus center. If I was allowed to keep my gun on me in my building, I would have it on me everyday.

I road a bus downtown for a little over a year and it wasn't really bad. But the bus I rode was basically a shuttle. It only made stops in downtown and then ran back to the station. It didn't run all through east dallas and other places so it was a limited group of people on it. People whose sole purpose was to come to work and go home, mostly professionals.

I would never get on the train just to ride it.
