    Hmmm

Tender, juicy and delicious! Bone-in and boneless. Six terrific flavors: BBQ, Spicy BBQ, Sweet & Tangy, Hot Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan. Eat-in, pick-up or delivery.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Since then I've been curious if its worthy of a stop.
Pizza King is spectacular. I would have them cater my wedding if my fiance would let me

You speak of the Longview location or the one's up north?

This is the one I'm talking about.

I love the Longview's Pizza King. It's a family owned place, not part of the franchise. The crust isn't a thick, bready crust, it's more of a cracker type crust, for lack of a better word. The stand-outs are the Queen's Fancy (mushroom, green pepper, and onion) and the King's Delight (old school supreme. We order it without anchovies and pepperoni). I <3 the Queen's Fancy with ham and black olives added. I think we're getting Pizza King tonight....

I need to stop in and try it. I know it won't be the same, but I'm a sucker for good pizza.

They're closed on Sundays and Mondays, so plan your trip accordingly. They also close for a week in June, I believe, for their annual vacation.

They also make everything fresh....no half baked crusts laying around...so if you're on a time crunch, order ahead and dine in to save time.

Pietro's is good, too. They have a Longview location and a location on the Shreveport Board walk. Their double decker supreme is my favorite. One slice of that bad boy lasts me a good two meals.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. The in-laws live on the outskirts of Longview and we're out there quite a bit during the summer. I'm getting tired of Papacita's.

I'm not certain that is true. I used to manage a pizza restaurant in my younger days. We made all our own dough and sauce and had a real oven. I just didnt care for the flat greasy style of pizza most of the places we stopped at in NY had. These days I am a fan of papa johns though, lol.

Never was a fan of Pietro's but I am suprised that the location has lasted as long as it has. Seems like 3 or 4 places came and went through there pretty quickly, think it was a dairy queen for the longest time?

No problem, they already came in under budget so all is well

Good to hear. I just remembered that I had pizza over the weekend, so I went to Genghis instead to eat just a bit healthier. I'll check out Johnny Chimpo's next week. Did you get any wings by chance?

Did you get a special pie or make your own? If a special, which variety?
