Attention North Louisiana Refugees... Johnny's Pizza in DFW.

I must make the disclaimer that my Uncle is the company President..

Those of you that came from North Louisiana (especially around Monroe) most likely know about Johnny's pizza. For those that don't, Johnny's has been around since 1967. My uncle started there as a delivery driver when they only had one store. I find it funny that my Grandma told him that she didn't see any future in it. Of course he ignored her and now he runs one of the larger privately owned pizza stores in the country.

Well, Johnny's started franchising a few years ago and the DFW Franchise opened in Addison today. I highly recommend the Sweep the Kitchen Pizza as well as the Sweep the Swamp (with crawfish). Yes, I'm bias but this is damn good stuff. Go give it a try..

The new store is at 4145 Beltline Rd near Midway. Their number is 972-386-4448 for carry out.

We've got one in Longview. It's pretty good pizza. I had the "Sweep the swamp" cajun pizza most recently.

Just called, real helpful. He suggested I place my order 30 minutes in advanced, so i'm gett ing the swamp (12inch for 2 people) @ 5:30. I wish I would have asked him how much they are, I would imagine what 12~15 bucks?

I was told they are hella busy today. Everyone Louisiana redneck and his cousin are there right now. I believe they have a drive up window though.
