Shoe lace tied to the ends of a stick (to make it look like a bow)
Wrap string around a stick once.
Put stick in a tinder pile.
Move stick side to side really fast until friction ignites the tinder.
And it sould take over a month to starve. I wouldn't think about eating my dog with all that game and mushrooms in the woods

I would never, ever dispose of a loyal animal that will not eat anything that will kill it, as long as it isn't completely malnourished. If the dog can eat it, then I can probably eat it. Besides, I love my dog waaaay too much to ever do that. IF I were to die, then at least my dog would still be alive to survive.
