What the hell does that have to do with what I said? IMO, we have reached and passed our peak as a civilized society. We are back-sliding to much less civilized ways.

Are you playing stupid...or are you really too stupid to understand how the sarcastic comparison relates directly to your claim that we as a society are in a "downward spiral"?

Just in case you are too prideful to admit you were playing stupid...I'll spell it out. If a word is too big for you consult a dictionary. You see I was pointing out that we have come a very long way as a society. Slavery has been employed for a very long time, and while not entirely gone...it's become less accepted. We don't have massacres like we used to for the sake of religion...just a few extremists doing stupid shit. Technologically, well I really hope I don't need to explain that you are using a computer to whine like a baby back bitch instead of a lambskin and charcoal. We are past the period where we think everything is made of 4 elements. The simple fact that there is a news story about a lady cutting in line at McDonalds instaed of a massive cultural defect should be reassuring to a normal person. While a moron focuses on the 1 outlier, the rest of the intelligent world realized there was a line of perfectly normal and competent people acting as a respectful portion of society. Feel free to focus on the 0.0001% of stupid people as your sample of society, I will focus on the remaining, functioning members to base my opinion of society.

Which if you still haven't gathered, society has done nothing but improve in a textbook sense. We have first world problems...stop whining.

How ironic that you, of all people, would call me stupid, moron, whiner, etc. Technological advancements do NOT equal societal improvement, much to the contrary actually. It leads people to be less socially adept and thereby take a step down on the ladder of civilization.

Slavery, religious massacres, and witch hunts may not be as widespread in this country as they once were, and that is a good thing. But if you think for a minute that thousands, if not tens of thousands of people are not dying each and every day because of those things, then you are wrong.

Our rise to, plateau, and descent from the high point of our civilization (in my and many others opinions) went something like [barbarism/slavery/complete racism]---[polite society/sir-ma'am-please-thank you/not particularly overt racism by any racial group]---[hiding behind keyboards/zero social skills/me-me-me/reverse racism]

I did not, do not, and have never focused on one individual as a representative for an entire culture. She is a representative, and there are many that I see every day, of what we have become in our "civilized" society. Politeness, unspoken rules of social order, having a little consideration for those around you...these are becoming completely alien concepts to many people. Anything happening in a "textbook sense" means that it has little real-world application. What we have is not necessarily improved. It is, however, the new normal.

Feel free to continue to call names. They do not bother me, because I consider the source and see the motivation.

Btw, my stupid, moron quotient is 147. What's yours?

Not when there are 3 of them with tasers, batons, and handguns telling you not to. You're welcome to challenge their translation of the laws...just be forewarned that you might not like the consequences. You'll prolly win the lawsuit...but damn its gonna be a pain in the ass. I tried to film a felony Dallas Police stop directly in front of Tree's in Deep Ellum a few years ago right after a concert let out...hundreds of people out watching...and was threatened quite seriously by two of the officers. No offense to the officers on the board....but a LOT of police officers flat trample and disregard all written laws and the constitution just because they think they will get away with it....after all....they have the court system on their side and the intimidation factor runs STRONG in their minds.

Bitch didn't have the time to wait in line, but she had a free 20 minutes to sit and argue at the window.
