I wear one on rare occasions. Meeting new clients or getting dressed up for a nice dinner.

I'm a baller on a budget so my daily wear is a Tag Heuer Aquaracer chronograph. I've got a cheap sports watch I wear for running, biking, etc. I've got a couple others but 90% of the time it'll be one of those two.

I'd like to get an expensive slightly obscure watch to use as a barometer while dating. If the woman recognizes the brand; not a keeper!

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

most people don't seem to recognize watches...there are just too many people making similar watches that they can't tell, i guess. i can walk around with my breitling chronomat and submariner, and nobody will ever ask...hell, most people don't even know what a breitling is, even if they do ask about it. the only one that people really know is my day/date...but that's only because it stands out a little too much. really, even then, they don't know what the brand is immediately; they just want to see it.
