NP! And remember, every state's Transportation laws will vary some. THey might not have addressed LP covers etc or you just never got stopped or asked about it. If I stop a car for whatever reason and I see a cover, large bracket, brake/any light out, I just let em know what needs to be done to fix it. Lol, most of the time when its an equipment violation or broken part, I tell em how to fix it or have them get out and show them how to do it. Pop the trunk if they dont mind and I show them where the bulb is accessed etc. Guess Im too much of a nice guy, but I enjoy that aspect of my job.

Anyways, it's off now, so no more worries for me I guess. The main thing that got me was the time it took for a verbal warning. I was sitting for almost 20 minutes waiting which is really what got me irritated.
Thanks for the heads up though!

Now the tinted ones are kinda obvious as to why they have it on there. Either they have a dark colored car and the bright LP just clashes with there tinted head and tail lights (that erks me the wrong way! Not only is it fugly, but its stupid and unsafe; the tinting of lights I mean). Or the most common is they are trying to keep it "concealed"... Mostly kids in Civics going the rebel route!

So I wonder how come I've never been arrested for having 2 round reflector bolts on the lower 2 bolt holes on my motorcycle....one of them actually covers the corner of one of the letters...and is obviously a HUGE infraction. I've been stopped in my T/A once for having a frame around the rear plate....and the officer didn't even mention the missing front plate..but told me I better remove that frame because it was a serious infraction. The frame remains...4 years later.

It gives me a reason to check and see if you have a DL/INS.
If you do, and no warrants, then I kindly ask you to remove it and have a nice day.
About half the people I stop don't have a DL or INS.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
