Does it do that if they have a Max Bid of say, $350.00, so every time someone bids, they "auto bid" a buck higher or something like that, up till it reaches $350.00 ???

If the highest bid shows, why would you make any bid under that bid?

It doesn't show the highest bid, it shows the current bid. And you cannot bid less than the current bid. You have to keep bidding until your current bid excedes someone elses highest bid.
