Well since you didn't, and I also didn't, I'm going to answer "nobody did" and hope I got it right. How'd I do?

I drive a '01 SUV that stickered for $40k in '01 and picked it up in '09 for $6500 with 92k on the clock.
Absolutely amazing! You've impressed this thousandaire mightily.

I never said the GT wasn't a bargain, but since day one I thought the comparison is laughable. It's a comparison of numbers only , with no regard to the car's true value over-all. You get what you pay for, the ZR1 may beat it around the nurburgring, but I'll take a Ferrari Italia all day long.

When comparing apples and oranges it's easy to focus on specific aspects of either, to make them come out on top.

              Lmfao!

That was an excited post with the addition of alcohol and excellent pool shooting.

What I meant to say was that it WAS a typo. The option code 55R is available on the 300A. The track app is not, so I won't know how many G's I pulled while outrunning Danny in the autocross events.

so, is the x-plan pricing the dealer invoice?

Wondering cause my work says I get a no-haggle price with ford on their x-plan. Pricing I saw showed I could get a base '12 GT for like $25k, I think it was. That pretty much is all I want.
Most used ones I've seen are more than that, so figured I might as well get new. That's IF i can find a stripped down base model.

                  X-plan is invoice - 0.4% + destination ($795), advertising ($516), and fuel charge ($53ish).

Grapevine Ford has had 2012 Base GTs advertised at under 25k.

LOL. You don't need that hokey bullsh!t anyway.

Congrats on the new ride Robert and Jenn. So what color is it anyway?

Right! It would just add weight anyway.

I think that's the best color on the new car. Congrats.

You better get on the ball finding one. There is not a single stripped down Brembo package with 3.73's in the U.S. that is brand new. For a car that most dealerships tell you wouldn't sell very well, it sure seemed to be hard to find.

Hell, I've even been told that my car would not be a big seller by some dealerships, yet another calls it "The every man's Boss" and it will sell fast.

Oh, there is a '12 GT500 at Grapevine that is begging for a new home. Josh can offer a great deal on it, too!

                              Why thank you, sir!

Now I've got to acquire my GT 500 mufflers, MGW shifter, adjustable panhard bar, springs, and tint. Then I'll look for some rims and leave my brembo wheels and tires set aside for autoX.

Is that the similar blue of the 12s, or more like the old new edge Sonic Blue?
