Well txdot covered there ass then... But old RXR bridge and 180 was 14-1 for years. If you go out and look on the ground at exit to Abrams and south bound in front of the ford dealership the old 14-1 advance clearance signs are laying on the ground where the contractors knocked em down and put up the 13-6 ones

i just did a quick search i dont do oversized so i dont know all the sites that have the correct info.. the company should have hired an escort unless they have run the route previously. like i said a guy the other day hauling an oversized engine or something had to make a u turn because his escort service noticed the bridge was low. 2 days later we have this happen. since its been hit two times already putting up some high load indicators seems like a good idea before someone really gets hurt. bonehead move by the drivers all 3 of them had the chance to check the bridge heights on the route but decided not to. simple mistake but atleast they know now...
