I definitely understand how it could be cause for concern, and wouldn't wish that on anyone, just don't think that the 'average' criminal would happen across that information and that the particular cop he was looking for would be on that list. Seems like it would be extremely random if anything actually came of it.

Sure there are some bad cops, but posting their address on the internet is going way overboard. That's were their family stays at not just the cop and you never know what kind of crazy people might get the info.

While I do not agree with their actions, I think it is total horse shit how a government employee can fuck up so much, and still be placed on suspension with pay. Like that officer who claimed he was going to shoot that guy up north because he didnt tell him he had a CHL who had like 20 infractions. You get 1 or 2 at any private organization worth its salt and you get shit canned. I see no reason why any government entity should handle things differently.

Cops aren't protecting kids that were exploited by one of their own, so this group is going to expose/exploit cops. I don't have a problem with it, cops seem to have awfully big head syndrome these days anyway.

I don't care what the statue or local government code says, as I think it is horseshit.

In the private sector when someone fucks up on camera, they get disciplined or fired on the spot (at least that is how we do it here). I do not see why the public sector should handle it any differently.
