    Guaranteed is the biggest part.

Those two (fine looking) bitches gulped it at the chance to win $50k - not for a flat payout.

<-- would drink it, but there had better be two commas associated with the guaranteed prize.

Most of the leg humpers on here would do it for the chance of banging either one.

Trying to shift your point around is futile. Your wrong on this one. Survivor cannot be credited with the boom of reality TV. That show was late to the game.

Name a popular reality TV show that was on the big networks during primetime hours before Survivor.

The idea that a "boom" was created from Real World is pretty hard to believe. Real World was on for almost 10 years before reality tv caught on.

MTV was a big channel at the time though.

Going to make me break out the goddamned Wiki? How old are you?

The Real World is a reality television program on MTV originally produced by Mary-Ellis Bunim and Jonathan Murray. First broadcast in 1992, the show, which was inspired by the 1973 PBS documentary series An American Family, is the longest-running program in MTV history[1] and one of the longest-running reality series in history, credited with launching the modern reality TV genre.[2]

And plenty of people credit survivor as being the catalyst of the proliferation of the Genre (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...gbAgX2vgU0mNrA)

He's not contesting that Survivor was the first reality TV show, or even the first popular one, he's arguing that it's the one that set off the reality TV craze. And I cite Wikipedia, just for you:

Reality television saw an explosion of global popularity starting in the summer of 2000, with the successes of Big Brother and Survivor (in the US).

I blame MTV for the majority of decline in Americas youth. It teaches them that you can be lazy, stupid, and self centered and be famous for it.
