umm yeah, you missed something. I was stating the fact that most PD's require some degree of college hours if not a degree in a specific field of study. DPD currently only requires that you have 45hrs of college under your belt before you are eligible to become a police officer (excluding honorable discharge if serving more than 3years in the military). But being as I am a civilian with no prior military experience I will have to take college classes to accumulate enough hours to become eligible to apply for the training academy.Originally posted by ceyko View PostDo you really feel police officers should require a college education?
