Thinking about it, they prolly had intel that the doors were barricaded/strengthened from the inside - hence cutting a hole in the door.

Interestingly enough, during the time they were chainsawing the door, the people inside could have dumped the drugs, emptied 5 mags through the door and took off out the window. This is one of the many reasons I'd love it if you could sue the individual agents for doing this.

I don't know about everyone else but I would have a difficult time not emptying my pistol or shotgun through the front door if a chainsaw was coming through my front door.

Also this. If was hanging out in my apartment minding my own business, and someone started chainsawing my door, I would start putting rounds through the door. Being the wrong address I would never think that it would be the FBI. Knowing how this shit normally works I'm betting I would end up with life in prison for someone elses mistake.
