If I didn't get free money on my 401K I would even be directly in the stock market.

So just Google "list of stocks with dividends". You'll get tons of names.

Oh, we've tried. He still says %10 for the cheaper stocks is more, since it is %10 of more shares... Several of us have gone bonkers trying to explain it, finally gave up.

Gotcha. Buying out of the money calls is a bitch, the clock is ticking against you. I have always liked selling out of the money puts because of the opposite, I have made a ton of money doing that over the years but I don't do it with just any stock either.

For every company named in the tech field that is a huge success, I can point toward the graveyard filled with competitors who took their shareholder's money to their graves.

The #1 rule of the Peters fund is "Don't lose your money". It's a lesson I learned after I got my nose bloodied a few times, sticking it where it doesn't belong in businesses that I didn't understand.

Point is, I don't need or want to invest in a company that reinvents the wheel every five years. Where will Google be in five years? Shit, good luck making a convincing argument for any place you want to say. They could be in the penthouse or kicked down into the gutter. Where will McDonald's be? They'll be making shitty hamburgers that idiots love and stil selling me coffee.
