Im looking at parking my truck and picking up something in the $4-$5k to daily drive back and forth to work. Want something that is 4 door and gets btwn 25-30 mpg. I have already looked on craigslist some but figured i would put this here for suggestions incase there is a car i am overlooking. Thanks

I'm diggin the Grand Marquis that I picked up from my wife's great aunt. I'm not getting 25-30 mpg, but I imagine low 20s. It's a remarkably low mileaged vehicle and drive smoother than most other cars.

the SVT focus ZX5 is a nice daily. you get 25-30+mpg and it has some pep so its fun to drive. and if you look around you should find them in that price range.

I picked up a 96 Avalon off Craigslist for 2k.

          Toyotas are great vehicles.

It does help that I work at Lexus.

One of the downsides! Great cars though.

Who gives a shit. I'm not going to buy a piece of shit just because nobody wants to steal it. (Not calling a Nissan a piece of shit, but they are IMO not built as well as Honda / Toyota cars.)

nissans are great cars and having a car stolen from you is a royal pain in the ass. if every time you turn around some one is jacking shit from your car it isn't worth the hastle.

I owned a 2001 Maxima and it was the biggest pile of shit I have ever sat in long enough to fart in. That shit pile was plagued problems.

I liked my 05 Grand Prix, but it only gets 22-23 mpg in the city.
