YES, protective of my boy? yes! would attack someone who walked in the house with me and showed no sign of threat no!
a pic of my boy after karate class and the dog just wanted to hang out... They do have a bad rap and probably wont own the breed again because of how the general public feels about them (i love to go to the dog park and take them for walks etc)
Something people dont realize is they are a terrier breed and require a lot of attention..
Pit bulls will take over your bed and there is nothing you can do about it though
"I'll never own another one."How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

My Pit never jumps on my bed or any other bed/couch in the house anymore. Now he just sits at the foot of the bed, whining/crying because he can't get on it.

The thing that concerns me most is that if that happens again and it's a person that grabs the collar not knowing that the dog will react in that violent of a way, then the person who grabs it better be damn strong or it will be hurt. Hell, my neighbor's wife weighs about 100 lbs soaking wet. If she were the one to have grabbed it, she would be in the hospital.
This kind of thing is the reason people don't get involved anymore.2010 F-350 6.4L SRW CC 4X4

So I go to the local carwashes that recycle their water and are eco friendly. But I guess the water restrictions don't include cops, you guys can do what ever you want, right?Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

option 1: dog runs into street, gets hit by car. Dog dies, it damages the car and maybe hurts the driver, too.
Option 2: Dog runs out, and the driver swerves to avoid it... and hits another car/lightpole/pedestrian etc.
The issue for Trublu03GT is that, in his line of work, he sees a lot of the repercussions like I put above. I completely understand his wanting to corral the dog.
However... I would have exercised Dallas PD Option 3: look around quickly, scream, "HE'S COMING RIGHT FOR ME!" shoot the dog and tie a baggie of crack around it's collar.Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you.
