I call BS on the list based on the Pug attack. That number should be way higher.

<-- has an Akita that loves my 5 yr old.... and would protect her even if it killed her (the dog, not my daughter).

It's not the breed, but the owner. (LMAO at pug)

Now it is a Pit Attack

Uh oh... damn media transforming boxers into pitbulls again...

            http://www.dallasnews.com/incoming/2...-month-old.ece

An 18-month-old boy is hospitalized in the Fort Worth area after pit bulls in his family's back yard attacked him.

A spokesman for the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office says authorities were called to a home near the town of Lakeside Monday afternoon. The wounded boy was quickly found and taken to an area hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Spokesman Terry Grisham says the boy's grandfather keeps seven pit bulls at the home. At least four dogs are believed to have attacked the boy outside the home.

No one has been charged in the attack.

One neighbor was taken into custody after a scuffle outside the home. Grisham says several neighbors have expressed anger about the dogs, but authorities are still investigating whether there have been previous attacks.

FWIW, I saw the news story this evening with an over head look at the dogs... They damn sure weren't boxers and were most likely PB's with (gasp) ears.

I was also wondering about Doberman's. Those dogs can be schitzo.

LOL. I sensed a bit a sarcasm, but it didn't make it through my monitor.

Sure looked like Pits on the news when it showed them being taken away. Real high class people. The grandfather came up and attatched the camera man and the grandma attacked a neighbor and was arrested. ON CAMERA no less.

Owned 3 boxer over the past 18 years, sweet, loyal, and they don't hold grudges. They don't bite unless aggravated. I don't believe this story.

My neighbor had a boxer and it had to be the meanest fucking dog that I have ever seen. Lunging at the fence while snarling and snapping at me every single time I went outside.

I sure hope you know the difference between a boxer and a pit, because all the dogs they dragged out to Animal Control were CLEARLY boxer's.
The only Pit I could see was the black one standing on top of its igloo.

My buddy was one of the first on the scene and escorted the ambulance to Cook's downtown. He has a child about this age and two boxers so it struck him harder than normal. He told me there was no way in hell the dogs were boxers. I have never heard him this shaken up after responding to a call.

Never heard of boxers ever being mean or even biting. Sucks for the kid either way.
