I've got an iPhone 4, and only use a case when I'm at work. It is thinner than my 1 fold wallet, and I don't carry shit in my wallet aside from the very basics.

Maybe they could just take accountability out of society all together. We've taken so much power to discipline children away from schools, they really have few options left.

A better policy might be to say "if it rings, it's ours". The student could pay to get it back. And my children all have restrictions (that I set online) on when they can even make or recieve calls on weekdays. 8am to 3pm they can only call a select few people. Seems pretty simple. Again though....it requires parents to be parents instead of enablers.
