Remember, anybody can sue anybody for anything, but that does not mean they can win. There are some things that are very wrong with this country, and the judicial system is one of those.

I remember reading or hearing about someone that was expelled from school for having a spent shot gun shell in the bed of their truck? WTF and this kid doesn't? I have no issue with what the Dad had to do. I would not take the chance for my child to be stabbed!
I'd be the bad guy after I stabbed the 10 year old that did it.

And with zero tolerance, you get good kids expelled for even an honest mistake. Wasn't some kid expelled recently for bring a Spork to school..

At some point we're going to have to let people start making judgements on things like intent. A kid that brings a spork to school get a hand slap at worse. A kid that brings a knife and threatens someone gets an ass beating.
