Work in the oilfield. They need qualified technicians. The money and benefits are outstanding.

That sucks! Alot of companies are way into CSI scores now, good, bad or indifferent. Even when a negative score isnt warranted, it still screws you up
Last I heard both Progressive and Geico were both hiring right now for adjustors.

Those companies are high stress and I am betting a pay cut for him. Job change wise I would say gasfield or the medical gig posted above.

I've got a bud that's only a few years younger than the TS who just gave up a fairly good paying career in financial services because he hates the corporate BS.

He's gone back to school to double major in some fairly difficult shit. Physics and Aeronautical Engineering with plans for masters and beyond. Everyone may not have the will or the means, but there are some people out there that do.

Adjustors do NOT have high stress jobs, compared to gas or oilfield work LOL. I work/worked with a few currently and even had a few go back to it after being away from it for a bit. Most of them get a case load for the day, how ever long it takes you to manage your time for your claims is how long your work day is, depends on the company.

LOL, it's all high stress, just different types. What companies have you worked for? I have worked bodyshop for years and worked for a company in Joshua for a few years that fixed the drilling vehicles. We might have crossed paths. Compared to the other jobs out there, not requiring a degree, the one's you listed all high stress. Hell, the DFWmustangs ballas could run the Autozone parts counter like a boss with no stress. It all sucks but in the end it is about the money.

That's the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw he'd been there 19 years.

I work for NTB and I am a service manager of the colony store. If youre possibly be interested I could talk to my district manager for you about getting a job in the metroplex. Techs are paid on a % of parts and labor. Depending on how many Ase's you have it could possibly be 21%. My buddy has a tech that makes $4500 a week at his shop. I have a tech right now that came from a Toyota dealership and her husband works at another one of our stores. Dealership guys love the way we pay.

If interested shoot me a PM. This is a all gravy work that you are use to.

FYI... My ex boss stated, I was let go due to misconduct. That is what they filed with the State of Texas....

I am pretty very sure during my meeting with my Manager , in his office, he said nothing about anything like that.
                                Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot
