This is a debate that has gone on since seat belts were invented...I've seen so many people die who were thrown from cars or lodged into the windshield that I still can't understand why people won't wear the damn things....BUT....I still fail to understand how and why the government thinks they can FORCE people to do so. Its should be a personal choice made by each driver and passenger (unless under the age of 18). I can say if I hadn't been wearing a seatbelt when I was T-boned in 2003 at work in a 1997 standard cab Ford F-350...I would probably be one fucked up dude.

why would you put it under your arm? might as well wear it correctly to avoid injury in a crash and avoid bullshit revenue generators.

IIRC headlights not being dimmed in a timely fashion is like DWI tip off #1, just behind swerving....... Pull them fuckers over for brights on. I'd rather 10 "warnings" about brights than 1 head on with one of them drunk fuckers!

a 5 point style race harness is illegal on the street no matter how you decide to strap in.

it is not oem saftey equipment that came factory with the vehicle, and is not dot approved.

                  DOT>SFI

Ive heard that before and always thought it was odd that something that safe is not legal.

It's all about the money. Politics too, but mostly money. They have to pay SFI for every tag they put on a piece of merchandise, I'd imagine it's pretty much the same for DOT stuff as well.

You are one of the few people on here that make me laugh. It's not intentional on your part, but keep it up! And I'll bet you that within your next few post you'll somehow manage to take someones words completely out of context and start foaming at the mouth.

Who's gonna' tell some revenue collecting, donut chasing, beta male what they really think during a traffic stop? Haha.

No revenue in that, but I agree 100%
