They made the right call...
And I'm no dog whisperer or anything, but I doubt an untrained dog is going to give sh!t about treats once it goes into attack mode.

All you have to do is go to the garage and get a pair of vice grips and put it on the dog's balls. You'll have his complete attention from there on out.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

god bless.
I have no idea how I was able to do that other than adrenaline. My finger was mauled pretty badly and bleeding everywhere. There is no way my wife or some kid could have gotten away from that dog. If it had latched on to me instead of my pup, I'm not sure I could've gotten away from it. Shooting the dog in the article was the right thing to do, especially since it had a history of aggression. I don't know why people continue to have those breeds of dog in their house.

Then I wrapped the log chain around his neck and pulled as tight as I could, held the dog up with one arm, and walked out of his range before letting go.

when they latch on, it's tough to get them to let go... I was at the dog park and watched this white trash dude trying to get his pit bull to let go of a boxer it was clamped down on. he cut his fingers up trying to pry the dog's jaws open. He had to choke the dog out to get it to let go.
I had my blade out and was like "if you want me to get that dog to let go, just say the word". He was sitting there strangling him and said "as soon as he passes out, he'll let go"
Stay classy pit bull owners!

When my mom had her dogs out in the country, I got her a 300k volt stun baton. She stuck me with it once (diff story) but never had to stick the dogs. Just crackle it in the air and the dogs immediately went belly to ground and got the fuck outta dodge.
It's just a primal "you are about to get fucked up" sound.
