Perhaps this has been answered before, but when has someone having a front plate actually allowed you to do your job more effectively? Or, more importantly, when has someone NOT having a front plate hindered you?

HMMM... how so? I would imagine if you got rear ended or even hit you wouldn't see the front plate as they were driving away

It happened to me a while back. Had to follow them to a gas station and block them in when they were getting gas. They didn't know english so I called the Mesquite police. A hispanic cop showed up and they suddenly learned english. No license, no insurance, truck was not in their name.

What if you got rear ended and the front plate was now on the street at the rear of your vehicle?
