timeshare, free gifts?

how many of you have done the time share things and gotten anything for free? they promised I would come out of there with at least a 40 dollar pre paid and 500 cash. all this talk of free cruises and cars has me tempted to go and try and get me some free shit. I will not be buying a timeshare.

The cruises and trips aren't free. There are a shit ton of blackout dates, taxes, and fees.

You can do it, just learn to say no. They will ring bells and shit every time they get a sucker to say yes. With all that said, my wife and I own a Disney timeshare but we love it. There was no real sales pitch and they gave us $100 just for talking to them. I would never even think about buying shit from some group of slick assholes though, that is nuts.

I did one several years ago, got a 'free' 5 day/4 night all-inclusive to Playa del Carmen. They wanted $250/ per person up front and wanted us to give three sets of travel dates that they could choose from. We ended up with a better deal from priceline.

We got to stay in a bad ass resort for two nights free for two hours of our time .So that wasn't to bad . They send me shit for White Bluff all the time for golf clubs, but was easier to go buy some .

I do contract shopping as side work, and shopped Holley Lake Ranch and The Villages-Flint (Which was where they gave out the Mexico vacation.) Holley Lake Ranch was just being built, and the sales people weren't quite as aggressive as The Villages sales people. I got paid $500 for each write-up, so the 4 hours I spent at Holley Lake was great, but the 8 hours at The Villages was a beating. I never took another timeshare job after that one.

Haha shit no. I use all the time every year here lately. It works out to be a good deal, I can get a week a year down there in a nice ass place that can sleep eight people for ~$1200.
