My wife and I were watching TV the other day and saw a commercial for a Nanny tv show. The premise was having a nanny come rescue parents from out of control children.

My wife hates corporal punishment, but she saw it's value in raising boys. Our children were never beaten, but they knew, feared, and respected pain.

That's the problem with society today.

It's not that unusual. My Bulloxer was a very protective dog. I was her world. I'm the one that took her out, fed her, walked her, etc. She knew exactly what purpose she served though, and that was protection for the house/wife/kids. When I spanked my son, I'd have to close the door with her in a separate room, or she would try to bite me.

Sounds like a good dog. I wonder if the people in the incident reported in this thread all lived full-time in the same house?

To say that EVERY pitbull is aggressive and a baby killer is ignorant. To say that, generally speaking, pit bulls aren't an aggressive, powerful, and often unpredictable breed is fucking stupid.


That's essentially saying that all of these people are raising their dogs to be vicious aggressors. While I can't prove it, I find that harder to believe than the dogs just being aggressive.
