Live music is a killer.

The Lone Star Bar is opening in the old City Streets location tonight for the first time, finally. It's country themed but they are supposed to have regular live music most nights.

The Library was closed two Fridays ago when I tried to stop in during the parade of lights. Not sure if it's permanent or not.

Fox and Hound is next door but no bands.

Spencers Corner at Ridgmar Mall meets all your criteria but isn't really downtown. Also Woody's Tavern in SW Fort Worth always has music, but usually Country.

You are very limited in venues with live music and not country, that can handle a party. How big of a group, what kind of music and how long do you want the place for?

The Saucer right now looks to be the best choice but keep in mind it's beer only.

I forgot about Baker St on Camp Bowie, it's close to downtown and has bands. That or the Love Shack and Freds always have bands and if they won't work then Lolas is a couple of streets over.

8.0's is usually fun. And they didn't kick me out for breaking a beer bottle out of discouragement for not making the top10 in their Halloween contest.

Look into "The smoke pit" Hooters girls don't have shit on their bikini waitresses.

I've been to the smoke pit once and maybe it was just because it was lunchtime but the waitresses there were all 40year old trashy chicks.

Yeah, there's the problem Some of the girls don't drink beer. Might go check out Fat Daddy's over on Taylor/5th. Also wanted to see what the new Lone Star Bar is all about, but probably not this time.

Whatever man. I went the day of the last LaGrave swap meet. It got rained out. We wear soaking wet, and enjoyed their $2 Bud lights. There were 2 blonds about 23-25. Very Very attractive young woman. Dosnt bug me one bit if you never go there again, more for me! They had their a-team out on Saturday afternoon
