  • would you trade for this Camaro?

I have my GTO up for sale and a guy offered me a trade for a '68 Camaro with a 468 and a glide. Claims it runs 6.50 @ 110 in the 1/8th all motor.

the motor pic looks like it has a dual plane. Can a BBC running a dual plane intake make enough power to get a 2900lb car to run 6.50s?

also, he offered me some cash on top of his car, only issue is he lives in Missouri

What would be the plans for it? That's a strictly strip car, it would take time and $$ (as you know) to make it street able. Make it a tx mile car!!!

the GTO was originally supposed to be a tx mile car, but that shit is super expensive. I honestly have no idea what i'd do with another old car. my torino already has dibs on the garage and most of my free wrenching time. the camaro might be fun for a while but I'd probably just end up flipping it for cash or trading it once I get bored.

Tell him you will bring the money to a track; he gets his money when it runs a 6.50.

Worked for me on bs'ing sellers.

sounds like you already have a toy with nowhere to put this, I think I remember you saying you already got hit by thiefs so would you really want that thing sitting outside in your driveway all the time
