    You should have no trouble being accepted in the Navy Reserves. They're not axing near as much as Army or Marines from what I've read.

      You can't be a Marine and the Army takes old guys. My brother graduated boot camp last July and said there was a 42 year old. Non infantry Army boot camp isn't near as rough as Marine or army infantry. If you want a "career" as you say, the reserves is not the way to go.
