unfortunately, they're unlikely to do anything for you. with as many pot holes as i see, just on my normal route, i don't see how drives lowered vehicles with extremely low profile tires on the roads around here.

The lady I talked to this morning was cool. She's sending me a claim form and going to look for the pothole. I figure if they do pay, it's going to take forever and I might not get everything covered, but I'll go through the motions. Any little bit is better than nothing. Heck, at least they have a process set up for this, and they're not telling me "tough shit" from the get-go.

Luckily, most of the significant ones I've encountered over the past several years have been on roads with lower speed limits, so they are easier to avoid or the impact isn't as severe. I've been jolted many times, but this is the first time I've actually had damage.

I got a call while at lunch, a whopping 4 hours from when I spoke with the lady. First, she apologized for not emailing me the form yet, and told me she was sending it ASAP (I have it now). Then, she said that she went out and found the pothole, agreed that it was huge, and informed me that they ARE accepting full liability for any damages caused to my vehicle!
