Short rant.
Last night one of our hydraulic jacks was stolen from a tow truck in front of my house. I don't usually park in the street, but I'm working on my rollback and it takes up most of the driveway. I know the thieves don't care, but being self employed the cost of having to replace this stuff comes directly out of my pocket. That's taking money from my family and things are already tight enough as it is!!!
Shitty part is that two of my four cameras have stopped working. I was just pricing new cameras on Monday. I guess now I'm going to have to order them. Every couple of years this seems to be a problem with our neighborhood and the reason I installed a CCTV system in the first place. Thieves will come through a couple times in the span of a few weeks and then everything will be fine for a few years. The last time this happened, the cameras didn't record anything useful, but the thieves also didn't mess with my stuff either! I'm wondering now if for some reason they saw me messing with them on Monday.
