Got lucky and reserved rooms Friday for the best western on husband street, you may try there, lady said they had quite a few rooms still.

I have bad news for you.....you made a reservation for the night it will be in Grand Prairie/Arlington.

If you plan on driving the Stillwater to Arlington (Grand Prairie) leg -which is on Friday, June 8- you need to be in Stillwater Thursday afternoon to register.

A bare basics tutorial....

So here is how the Power Tour works:

Saturday, June 2nd is the official first day.
So for those of you planning on doing the Long Haul, you NEED to be at the venue by Saturday afternoon, finalize registration, get your credentials and go get stamped at the Main Stage.
Every afternoon you get your credentials stamped. In the event there was very bad weather or somesuch that would keep people from getting to the afternoon venue in time, they have the timestamp at the next morning's meeting.

As mentioned just a couple of posts back, if you plan on doing the last leg you need to be in Stillwater THURSDAY AFTERNOON to get registered.
Bring a cooler of "cold beverages" and a folding chair. There is a main stage area where you plop your ass down, relax and enjoy.
The next morning there is the Morning meeting, usually starting around 8. Tour gets on the road about 9 and takes whatever route they have lined out.

Just called and got a reservation at the Microtel Inn and Suites so there may be others available.

I got a room at the motel 6 for a whopping $42. Reviews say that the rooms are clean, so it should worl for me, plus I can park outside my room hopefully.

John and I aren't booking rooms... we are going to play it by ear to see if we are even going and then if we do we will work it out along the way.... or sleep in the back of the car lol

power tour 2012

I just paid the registration. I will be attending from Madison, IL to Arlington. This will be my 1st and I'm soo looking forward to it!!!

FYI. All the hotels in the towns that the venues take place are SOLD OUT!! I have to travel at least 20 miles each night. Goodtimes!
