I have some friends going and they are trying to talk me into taking the 65 as well. I am seriously considering it but need to change the rear gears before doing it. If I go my father in law was talking about taking his 65 Vette and my dad will probably go in his 09 Roush.

We would just be doing the last leg from OK to Arlington.

I saw your post in the classifieds, and it reminded me to post up. I guess the 5sp in mine makes the 4:30's not so bad, I don't think I'm going to have to do a gear swap to make it.

i'd love to take the coupe but the 3spd w/3.73's (even with 28's) would kill me, plus the 8 gallon fuel cell would mean lots of stops for gas. maybe i'll take the vette although seems kind of lame since it'll probably still be stock

Throw some 3.08's or 3.27's in that thing. Turbo's LOVE numerically lower gears like that. I would cruise at 70mph like it was nothing in the Datsun with a glide, 3.08's and 325/50/15's (28" tall)
