I've done the Long Haul 7 times(2003-2009) ...
If you plan on doing that last leg you need to be in Stillwater on Thursday afternoon to get registered. You need the windshield decal to get into the morning meeting Friday Morning and the venue in the afternoon. The registration booth closes somewhere around 5 or 6.
IF your plan is to run up there Friday and pick up somewhere along the way, you certainly can. But you WILL have to peel off to the registration booth to pull in and park with everybody else.
I assure you that is a huge pain in the ass.
The actual suggested route will not be posted until May. Between now and April Hot Rod has some staffers in a rental car trying -key word is trying- to come up with decent routes. They try to run the Tour through the countryside, run through cool old town or scenic routes.

As long as they pass by stations with E85 every 100-150 miles, we are golden.
Not too far off. Just got the Cobra back home today from getting tuned and dynoed at True Street. I'm just a few paint touch ups away from making something like this

Thanks for the information. Hwy 77 has some scenic areas around Turner Falls and provides some nice views through the Arbuckle Mountains.
