Last one I recall overhearing was a farmer calling in to a small town PD to let them know he wanted to light his burn pile. While I was fixing their VSAT system, I listened to the dispatcher explain that it wasn't such good idea to light anything on fire with the lack of rain in the area and the sustained 35+ mph winds (with gusts up to 50). The dispatcher was on the phone for 20+ minutes explaining this before sending an officer by to explain it in person.
