Bumping this thread as I met up with Jen and Robert yesterday to pick up the brother of the first pup that was found. He is a cute little guy. He has lots of energy, but knows when it's time to settle down and behave. Doing well with house training so far, but the crate training is going to take a good while I'm afraid. That said, he is going to be a larger dog when he's full grown, and he already seems to have the personality of a loyal protector of the house and family.

Here's a couple of crappy phone pics.

                It was nice meeting you.

I should have looked into the weather for that area before I left the house. It was much warmer here.

He looks like he will fit in nicely! He might be confused right now with crate training, but his intelligence will prevail. My dad and I didn't do any crate training. I never had a mess to clean up when this one would hang out at the shop. He began to understand "go outside" and then "go potty" quite well.

His brother would need to be taken outside as soon as he woke up, so we just stuck with that routine when we found this one.

It made me get all soft hearted to hand him over, but seeing how happy he was with your wife made it all better.
I hope he brings lots of joy to your family.

Cute puppy in both cases, and they both found good homes, regardless of breed.

He is a lover. He'll be a great dog. Here's a better pic of him. He's actually my favorite out of the three.

It was great to meet you both as well. We'll all have to meet up again when we all have more time. Thanks again for bringing him with you on your trip, sure saved me some fuel to go pick him up.

Yeah, he is already learning lay down, as seen in the pic 1st pic I posted. He already likes his "outside the crate" bed. He's very well behaved for being so young, and that makes it easier for the kids to want to be around him.

I've been taking him out every 2 hours today and always going out the same door so he knows where to go. Last night he did good and went about 8 hours in the crate without making a fuss to go out. When I got up this morning at 6 we went outside and he did all his business. He only whimpered in the crate for the first hour or two, after that he was mostly calm.

She made a new friend real quick that's for sure. He was happy just sitting in her lap while we drove home. Fell asleep before we got there as well, just like you said he probably would.
