His insurance will probably want a deposition of sorts and it helps to have that information handy (recent experience).

Try having your son back into a car while literally trying to LEAVE a parking lot, BEFORE he even has his license....

First time driving with a permit. He pulls out too far into the road and rather than sitting there 6" to the street he throws it in reverse and smashes the minivan behind...

      Fuckin' kids...

You get her info to call her tonight, tomorrow, a couple days later...just to promote goodwill and make sure she's ok, if anything else!

Be nice to them, so they don't consider suing your DFWM baller asses off. Duh!

            ...its a win-win situation.

If I didn't fuck up you have no god damned reason to have my info.

I would consider that expected, much more than dreaded. Be grateful it was minor.

Agreed. I have been involved in a few incidents where it was not necessary to provide my info. Yes, some with PD on the scene as well.

Actually it is REQUIRED by law to exchange information, her failure to do so is a violation...
BUT, that's just the fine point...He really just needs it to try to keep things smooth and avoid a law suit, or GOD FORBID, he's actually a nice guy and wants to check on the lady and make sure she is OK and apologize...Like half the knuckledraggers in here haven't hit someone....A kind word goes a long way...

Law says you exchange info. But I guess that's too difficult for you to comprehend.

I'm not trying to assume his intended meaning. However, technically, he said "no reason to", not legally obligated to.

What? If you are legally obligated, that seems like a good reason to me.
