  • a-holes driving with their high beams on

i know some people are just stupid or inconsiderate when it comes to driving with their high beams on, but over the last 3 or 4 days i have noticed A LOT of people driving with them on. as in double or triple the amount of dummies driving with them on

i will admit it's a pet peeve of mine so i recognize it instantly but has anyone else noticed this? or am i just slowly going crazy

Exactly! If you flash them they turn around and come back to kill you.

A lot of em might just be bright ass low beams. I've noticed a lot of new cars are getting really bright headlights straight from the factory. Getting a little rediculous honestly.

On the other hand I have an 05 Ram, and I get people flashing their lights at me on a regular basis. I've never thought that my lights were really that bright. I do have a small lift on the truck, so it may just be the height of the lights is in a bad spot. I don't want people to think i'm a dick, so when they flash their lights I turn on my brights to show them that I'm really a nice guy

I hi-beam flash 'em. But, they're too stupid to realize what that means.

My truck is stock height and I still have this happen fairly regular. I flash them back a couple of times to make double sure they know I'm a nice guy lol.

Many people are adding aftermarket HID's to factory lenses which blasts light everywhere.

                      Fucking WERD!

Last night I had to flash this one asshole three times to get him to flip to low beam. What really sucked was that I was in the turning lane trying to go left from a fairly busy highway, so I couldn't tell the speed or distance of any of the other oncoming cars. I had to be the asshole holding up traffic while my eyes got readjusted.

Bright lighting someone that already thought you were bright lighting them. Makes me giggle inside.

Question on this subject. I've noticed alot of people lately are running these high intensity HID's. Is there a legal limit on brightness on these things?

Yes, but they like to push it to the edge.

The legal limit seems to be up to a police officer's discretion. I have used aftermarket HIDs in the past in the stock Mustang housings and never had any comments made about them by the police and was never flashed by oncoming drivers. I still use them in the fog light housings, but those are rarely on.
