I always look to see where something is made when I buy it and 99% of the time I dont have a choice of USA made but when I do I usually have to pay 20% or more for it.

On a side note, my wifes Aunt and Uncle are stationed in Japan and they say all the stuff in the Japanese markets are made in the USA and finding something made in Japan is hard.

This...and then there's the government regulation side of it here. All you idiots that flock to Wal-mart constantly have contributed the most to things being outsourced.

Exports as a % of US GDP are as high as they've ever been, and higher than they were decades ago, geniuses.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

May be useless, but if i'm looking for something & can't find anything other than made in china, i bitch to the management of whatever store i'm in.

It's one thing that toys and power tools are made in China but fucking cowboy boots.I know that a few Justins are made in American ,but I am sure the little teen selling them have no idea which ones are .I knew Lucchese's where ,but I need some work boots . I think I will go check out some Red Wings and see what they have to offer.

                    This.

Also, Americans want to be paid $40/hr for a $8/hr job.

A couple of years ago I read that 7 million shipping containers enter the US and only 2 million are shipped out. Most of them coming from China.

                          EPA?
                          Taxes?
                          Regulations out the ass?
                          Unions?
State and National govts that hate businesses?

Avoid all that BS and build it in China!

I try very hard to buy Made in U.S.A. every time I can for everything I can. Not enough people do.
