Lol, i think anytime i've done anything government related online, I’ve gotten timed out or error 404’d and it always seems to be during payment.

I think the only thing i've witnessed go ridiculously smooth was my CHL filing along with updates. i was astounded with the timeliness and accuracy.

i feel your pain...i have to deal with them for my electrical license as well.

When they added the electrical license they conveniently forgot about all the people who were working in fields where no licenses was needed previously (Oilfield, refineries, etc.). My Dad has owned an oilfield electrical business since 1986 and according to their first set of rules for the license he didn't qualify for the Masters license he now needed to stay in business. After him and a few of the other contractors in the same situation made several trips to Austin for their meetings they finally changed the grandfather criteria.

Fuck the government.

Your one of the good guys, I was referring to whomever makes the damn DOT rules for trucks and the DPS officers in the Tahoes who seem to arbitrarily enforce them. Every time one of our trucks gets pulled over they have a new rule to write it a ticket on that has never been mentioned before.

ehh they are starting to dick with us as well every summer.... working for them sucks ass too. Benifits are nice, and the amount of time i can take off whenever is cool. But the no overtime majority of the time sucks balls.
