I remember even a few years ago in my 94 I'd get challenged all the time by eclipses and civics, neons, rsx's, sentras. You don't see shit anymore. Is it the economy or have they finally grown up?

It was fun. Goofy kids with like 12 gauge pods, body kit half flapping in the wind buddy next to them filming... I remember one christmas when I was stationed out in norfolk I went out to get a bottle of wine and the only car on the road was a primer grey civic with the most ridiculous body kit half bolted on. He had more gauge pods then I could count on the pillar and his buddy shouldering a camera in the passenger seat. It was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw... I still remember the kid mean mugging me trying to be tough. Jaw all pushed forward, facing forward but sneaking looks at my car, revving his ridiculous fart-canned engine...2012 mustang gt. 3.31 MT

Oh, they are still out there in spades my friend. I don't have any problems when daily driving my super quiet stock looking GTO. However, when I take the Mustang out for a spin, I'm a freakin' ricer magnet. They see those a-pillar gauges and hear that s/c whistle and it's like catnip to those assholes. One guy in some ricermobile with a folgers can exhaust tip, pulled up next to me at a stop light on the way back from last weeks meet. This guy was bouncing it off the rev limiter until the light went green. I just idled through the intersection and laughed waiting for that thing to start spitting parts and oil, but unfortunately it didn't happen.
