We both got a big kick out of this thread, thanks for the consensus.
In the case of liability, it is indeed my responsibility to clear MY pockets. To be "nice", she will make an attempt to check them prior to doing me a favor and washing my shit.
Normally the first thing I do when I get home from work is empty my pockets and change. This incident occurred outside of "normal". Yes, she did the laundry on her own accord, I was not aware of the impending doom. I don't know how, but the dip didn't stain anything, and was the only victim of irresponsibility.
Even if it's not my shit I still check. Having a pen blow up, fucking coins that rattle like a fucking annoying ooga booga n!gl3t in the dryer fucking sucks. But if I find something in someones clothes ill go yell at them

I am presuming the $203 fell out in the washer or dryer, undetected by said roommate.
Otherwise, there's a mandy in the house.
well said roommate was a lazy fuck putting clothes in the washer and leaving them, so sometimes I would dry them and throw them into his bedroom from the door...job done. and most of the time money would fall out of the pants pockets in the dryer, so i figured it was my tip for finishing the laundry. most of the time less than 10 dollars fell out except when I hit the $203 lotto.
