  • Too sexy for the yearbook

Too sexy to be included in the thea high school yearbook?

The yearbook staff at Durango High School in Colorado allow each senior to submit a personal photo to be included in the yearly publication, however, when Sydney Spies sent this one in, they said no way.

Now, Sydney and her mom are fighting the decision.

    Flexible. I like it.

How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

I'm gonna go ahead and agree with the high school on this one. A policy of allowing students to submit their own photo for the yearbook is stupid and invites this kind of problem though.

We had to submit head shots. I'm wondering if it's a different senior section that they pay for. We did stuff like that, in addition to advertising, to subsidize the upfront publishing costs.

We have our pictures done by a company, but parents can submit tributes.

                      Head shots only makes sense.

We did baby pictures with tributes that parents bought, but we also did senior sections that were sprinkled in with the advertising.

i agree that it shouldn't be her senior pic. seems out of place since they're mostly head shots like stated before. i do think she should have some of those towards the back of the yearbook with the paid-for section. which in the article they said she could, if i read it correctly
