my roommate from vegas did that to a kid, but luckily didn't kill him. homedude told my roommate to fuck off, kyle reared back and popped him one time, kid was out cold before he was off his heels. fell and hit his head on a rock, ended up suffering from seizures and lost his sense of taste and smell.. all because he wanted to be a badass.

no it was near my hometown in Lawrence Ks, Leavenworth, near the pen. Should have made it clear I'm an outsider on the board.

            Ah... OK.

I should have made a disclaimer on the first post.

It is not tough to do if you have practiced any type of fighting that involves closed hand strikes to the head. Most people will be knocked out cold from a hit just below and slightly forward of the ear; it is like hitting an off switch.

I hope you guys don't think this kid is a big kid.

He's probably my size, just saying.

Why do they keep saying "over 6 feet tall" just state his fucking height.

5'1 ? Publicly intoxicated, in the hood, sounds like little man syndrome.

Either way, kid deserves some punishment. Hes obviously infuenced by older "hard" people, so is prison really going to fix him? Is that what they see to be a solution? Stupid fucking justice system.

Sorry, but it isn't my tax dollar's responsibility to "fix" the dumb ass.

Oh, and what exactly did the 5'1" dude do to deserve being assaulted?

I prefer my tax dollars lock his ass up so he doesn't do it again.

Too many people think jail is supposed to rehabilitate, when it is really meant to be a deterrant.

After seeing what some government agencies ok as a "good" home, I can't imagine what a step down a "pretty good" home must be. I believe they should prosecute the kid for manslaughter.

So your point of veiw is to incarcerate him, make him worse, teach him worse things to do release him back into society?

Yeah that's a great idea, just fuck him up more and when he kills someone else, what then?

They claim jail is suppose to "teach you a lesson" when in reality it just makes you a better criminal.

All the justice system does is create an inconvenience to learn how to be better at breaking the law next time.

I don't have a better solution, but the current system of placing a foe in jail to just release them when their time is up isn't working at all.

If it did work, and it wasn't a waste of tax dollars and time then there wouldn't be such a high rate of repeat offenders.

Why do you think there is such a massive prison population in the USA? Do we just have more bad people here?

Its a cheap source of labor yo! They do everything from make license plates to work call centers! All at 10-25 cents an hour!

You mean worse than killing someone at random because he got the impulse to injure someone?

The kid is already as bad as it gets; he randomly killed someone who was walking down the street even if he did not mean to. Why should he get a do over when the person he killed doesn't get one?

Prisons purpose it to warehouse the kid so he is only a menace to other prisoners and not to society at large.

I make a point of hiring felons and I can tell you that prison doesn't make them a better criminal at all. The bad thing about prison is that it teaches survival skills that run counter to the skills needed on the outside.

We have more bad laws. So many bad laws that it has bred a contempt for the law into the everyday citizen.

The use of prison labor is not profitable. Mostly it is to keep the prisoners busy and to give them some privileges that can be taken away as punishment if needed.
