We had a 10 year old take a tech 9 to school, given to him by his father, to take care of another kid a few years back. We find guns on 14-16 year olds all the time, well about once a year or so at the least. Not BB guns either.

I had a 6th grade kid show me a 25 cal. pistol on the bus going to school when I was in high school. I would agree it happens far more than people know.
