Why I hate Monster Cable so much and refuse to buy anything from them. They want to run any competitor out of business and are already ready to use SOPA to do it. They don't want you or ebay reselling your cable at a good price because then they can't sell the overpriced SHIT.

I can see why they'd hate CL and ebay, cause employees at retailers that sell Monster HDMI cables would tend to buy them at employee cost and sell them for a little more but still under retail prices on these sites.
I know at my work we used to be able to get an $80 hdmi cable for about $10, until our discount changed. So, someone coulda been buying an $80 (for $10) cable and reselling it for $40 to make a little profit themselves.

Why they're hating on Costco and Sears is beyond me, unless those companies are also just selling the cables at cost.

It's a lot easier to use Google to search for exactly what I'm looking for than to take out a book, use the index to find a bunch of different sections with one of the keywords I'm looking for, and go through a handful of generic examples that probably don't tell me what I want to know before giving up and trying another book...

It's not about laziness, it's about having more information, more easily accessed (which is what these laws are trying to limit).
