my old man had a z06 exhaust on his 500rwhp c5, and gained like 6 hp with the cutouts i think, im sure the c6 z0 exhaust is better, on his 09 z06 i think he just pulled the fuse and it was open all the time it sounded good.

once you do headers/any other mods having it open all the time gets REAL anoying and drones realy bad.. i keep mine closed 90% of the time.

yeah hehad stock manifolds and an offroad x. he didnt drive it much, so i dont think it bothered him. the car dynoed 500ish with a vararam exhaust and tune.

I think someone makes a little switch that does that, too. Pulling the fuse is cheaper, but the switch would make it more convenient to close back up.
