Must be something in the water over there. Same thing happened to a Tennessee lady a couple of days ago:

And BIG X2 for CCW'ers to research states laws they plan to visit.

NY is a shit hole and their gun laws are absurd.

But he does shoulder 100% of the blame.

I know nothing about NYC or NY state gun laws, but even I know you don't take a pistol there. Unfortunately, his ignorance is gonna cost him.

Minus DC I don't see why they should be able to tell us what states we can and can't carry in. What kinda crap is that!

Fuck NY...only reason to go there would be to liberate the people outside of the big cities.

Actually, since DC is Federal, it seems 2A should be unrestricted. The "states' rights" can be construed to limit carrying.

I hear that. Every election, it seems like counties outside metropolitan areas are red. Just too bad the blue areas have more population.

I think you've got that backwards.

So the 'full faith and credit' clause is completely dead? If this guy is from a state that allows concealed weapons to be carried by legal license holders, then NY should at least consider that before sending him to prison. I'll be interested to see how this plays out in the courts. In fact, I'd like to see it in front of the Supreme Court since I feel the law in NY is unconstitutional anyway.

"Full faith and credit ought to be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings, of every other state; and the legislature shall, by general laws, prescribe the manner in which such acts, records, and proceedings, shall be proved, and the effect which judgments, obtained in one state, shall have in another."
When the government pays, the government controls.

Marine should've done a little more investigating than the internet. His fault. On that note, fuck New York.
